Jintang Community in Xietang Sub-district hosted an event on Sept 8, in response to the Public Benefit Campaign initiated by Tencent Public Services, Chinese tech giant Tencent's self-help charity platform, along with hundreds of its peers, renowned enterprises and celebrities.

It's learnt that a campaign of the kind takes place around Sept 9 each year since 2015 to arouse public enthusiasm in public-benefit programs and provide the netizens with easily accessible and interesting channels like mobile payment and social networks and funny on-line interactions to participate in charity programs.

In the event, eight volunteer teams in SIP explained in detail their missions and services to the participants, hoping more and more people will join them to lend a hand to people who need helps. Concurrently, a donation was held, collecting RMB 1,428.64 in cash and e-cash for migrant children (who move to different places together with their migrant parents).
