Suzhou Open wraps up

The Suzhou Open, the 10th leg of 2018 PGA Tour Series-China, wrapped up at Jinji Lake Golf Club on Sept 2. A total of 144 professional golfers from 17 countries and regions, including 55 from Chinese mainland, competed in it over the past four days.

Canada's Richard Jung, who birdied the last for a 21-under total of 267, won the championship together with a money award of RMB 270,000 and six Official World Golf Ranking points that propel him onto the eighth place on the Order of Merit.

Chinese golfer Yuan Yechun, 21, narrowly missed out on victory at the event, which he participated for the first time as a professional, and garnered the second place with a total of 269.

It is reported that the 11th leg will take place in Qinhuangdao in North China's Hebei province from Sept 6 to 9.
