A self-help printer, the first in Suzhou, recently came into service at the Security Room of Weina Sunshine Garden Residential Quarter, Weiting Sub-district, bringing great convenience to people who need to have their documents printed at hours when printing stores are closed.

Documents can be uploaded to the printer through a specialized mobile App, the WeChat platform or a designated website, and payment can be made using mobile phones,too.

The machine is one of the local authority's serial efforts trying to serve the residents more efficiently by employing smart equipment, such as the systems for paying electricity, water and gas bills and self-service grocery stores and drug kiosks that are already in use.
