The authority of SIP High-end Manufacturing and International Trade Zone (SIP-HMITZ) received a thank-you banner from Safran Landing Systems (Suzhou) on May 11 for its endeavors in helping the company resume production from a business suspension order.

The company,part of France-based landing and braking systems manufacturer Safran, was ordered by Suzhou Fire Brigade to stop operation for a month after a fire occurred in its hazardous wastes warehouse in February. The SIP-HMITZ authority followed up the case to help the company eliminate safety pitfalls and minimize its economic loss. With its efficient assistance, the company soon solved the problems and restarted operation.
