Suzhou Administration for Industry and Commerce and Suzhou Consumer Rights Protection Commission jointly convened a news briefing on Mar 12, announcing to hold a large event at the Suzhou Center Square, SIP on Mar 15, the World Consumer Rights Day (WCRD), in a move to heighten the public awareness of consumer rights protection.

It is learned that the event will include a display of last year's achievements in protecting consumers' rights, an award ceremony for individuals and organizations with remarkable contributions to that, and a launching ceremony of a local smart rights protection program and a good consumption concepts popularization campaign.

Apart from that, staff from 22 administrative departments and 24 industrial organizations will deal with the complaints and provide consultancy on site, while 52 reputable local enterprises will demonstrate their excellent services at the event.
