SIP has scheduled a variety of events for the period from March to May to enrich people's life and broaden their horizons.

Sports events are an essential part of the list. For example, there are the 2018 Suzhou Jinji Lake International Half Marathon and the 1st YLPTR Kite Culture & Art Festival, three-on-three basketball games, orienteering, cycling race and aeromodeling competition at Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR). Besides, various community events like fun games and skill contests are good options.

There are also excellent performances given by local art troupes such as Suzhou Symphony Orchestra and Suzhou Ballet Theatre as well as diverse exhibitions nearly on every weekend, which provide good opportunities for fostering a good artistic taste.

Apart from that, regular classes on Suzhou dialect and Chinese culture and serial reading sessions are underway.
