Loufeng Sub-district hosted an event on Mar 5, the Learn from Lei Feng Day, an official day celebrated in the country yearly to call on people to learn from the good deeds of Lei Feng (1940 to 1962), a People's Liberation Army (PLA) soldier characterized as a model of altruism.

In the event, a number of people received the honor of "Moral Model" for their remarkable contributions to the local development and public services.

After that, the "10-min Public Service Program" initiated by Loufeng Sub-district Volunteers Association for the purpose of further extending volunteer services was launched.

Moreover, volunteers from 25 public service teams provided free home appliance repair, health check and consultancy on environmental protection, housekeeping services and employment to the residents on site.
