The Exhibition of Zhang Jixin's Paintings is scheduled to open on May 27 at National Art Museum of China (NAMOC), the best art museum in China. The exhibits will include 220 fine brushworks, bird and flower paintings and sketches by Zhang Jixin, a renowned Suzhou artist who represents contemporary Wu Painting School.

Zhang was born in 1926 in Changzhou, East China's Jiangsu province. The exhibits are representative works he made at different periods, including the Ancient Cypress, Flowers on the Other Side of the Wall and First Snow.
