A variety of cultural and performing activities by volunteers were staged in Songyu Community of SIP Xietang Sub-district on Jan 14, as part of the celebrations for the Chinese New Year which is about a week away.

People enjoyed the performance of singing and dancing by veteran volunteers, folk music, Chinese zither playing and the magic show by the Yangtze River Delta Migrant Worker Art Troupe. Also some calligraphers wrote Spring Festival tablets which were sought after by many people on the scene.
