A grand recitation themed "Poetry and Lyrics for the Spring Festival" was held on the afternoon of February 9, with the participation of residents from Hudong Community, who wanted to greet the Spring Festival in a unique way of singing and recitation.

Eye-catching folk-custom performance was accompanied by the recitation of poems and lyrics. Members of Hudong Painting and Calligraphy Association took up their writing brush on the site, and Gusu Qiaoniang Class presented the food, vegetable and fruits made with plastic beads, which vividly resembled a table of traditional family reunion dinner. Linyu Paper-cutting Society also offered on-the-spot show and cut out the lively and merry image of "Goat Cerebrating New Year".

As a typical "migrant community", Hudong Community is home to 72% of new comers and 8% of foreigners.
