John living at Qiongjidun Residential Community in Suzhou Industrial Park one day saw lots of garbage piled outside the west wall of south Royal Peninsular, took a picture and uploaded it to the WeChat account of the community. At receiving the message, the community committee sent a worker to check the place before making a phone call to SIP authority. The public utilities and property management office sent cleaning workers to remove the garbage on the same day.

Encouraged by the positive feedback, John made another suggestion. "The attached pictures show the pavement outside our compound (Royal Peninsular, Hua Zhong Road, SIP) has been totally blocked off," he wrote. "I understand that repair work is going on but there is no need to close the whole pavement. One side of the pavement can be blocked off and worked on...When the first side is completed then the other side can be blocked." The community talked to the contractor and they took his advice.

John was glad to see problems solved and wrote a thank-you note and asked his wife, Annie Tang, to give it to the community committee for him.
