Communities in SIP’s Xietang Sub-district are trying multiple ways to instill the concept of garbage classification into every resident.　

For this purpose, Xindongyuan Community recently organized a volunteer event to showcase displays and distribute brochures on garbage classification to local residents. The volunteers also explained to the residents in detail the garbage sorting methods based on the brochure.

 

Lianfeng Community hosted an event at the local library on Dec 21 when a group of local children learnt to make paper trash cans and gained a better understanding of garbage sorting in the process.
