The Pollution Prevention and Control Command Headquarters of SIP’s Xietang Sub-district held a work conference on Dec 24 to convey Suzhou government’s action plan and notification on winter pollution prevention and control and make deployment for future actions for the purpose. Officials from related administrative offices and executives of local public service and property management companies were present.

 

At the event, the administrative offices and companies involved were required to adopt efficient preventive measures and inspection, patrol and enforcement mechanisms to prevent and control pollutions caused by winter heating fuels, dust and improper cooking fume disposal at restaurants. Besides, a plan for watercourse desilting was announced.
