SIP Hudong Community Working Committee is highly motivated to organize various events with the hope of enhancing the local residents’ awareness of garbage classification. In the event on Oct 17, a volunteer teacher gave a lecture on garbage classification to the residents and property management staff in Linglongwan Residential Quarter. 

 

In the event, the volunteer teacher expounded on the latest government policies on garbage classification to the participants using easy-to-understand language, imparted waste sorting skills to them and answered their inquiries. Several residents and local “garbage classification supervisors” also had the chance to practice waste sorting in simulated scenarios.
