SIP Dongshahu Green Guardians Environmental Service Center and several companies in SIP jointly launched the “Green Urban Coordinate Milk Carton Recycling Plan” at a commercial plaza in SIP on July 14.

 

The plan includes a series of publicity activities to impart knowledge and tips for recycling of milk cartons to local citizens and offer them chances to exchange used milk cartons for gifts at designated stores.

 

In the event, a recycling bin designed for the project was on display, and tens of volunteers from the center and the companies served on site to provide consultancy to the participating citizens. According to the volunteers, the used milk cartons should be cut open and cleaned before being put into the recycling bins.
