Authorized by SIP Comprehensive Urban Management and Law Enforcement Office, Suzhou Dushu Lake Industrial Corporation in SIP recently put four million fish hatchlings into Jinji Lake and Dushu Lake in a move to improve the water quality and preserve the lake ecosystem. A third-party supervisor recorded the process and data about the hatchlings on site.

The hatchlings including 1.5 million silver carps, 1.5 million spotted silver carps and 1 million crucians are expected to help control propagation of blue algae and maintain high degree of aquatic biodiversity in the lakes, the company said.
