SIP Jinji Lake CBD Party Working Committee and Administrative Committee were inaugurated on Dec 21, marking that Jinji Lake CBD formally came into operation. Boasting nearly 1,000 financial institutions, hundreds of professional service organizations, excellent conditions for high-end manufacturing and abundant tourism resources, the 62.25-square-kilometer zone is expected to become an iconic financial and producer service cluster in Suzhou.

At the inauguration ceremony, six companies signed agreements with Jinji Lake CBD authority to set up their projects totally worth RMB 10.6 billion in the area, while other three firms opened their businesses in it.

Shen Xiaoming, deputy secretary of Jinji Lake CBD Party Working Committee and director of Jinji Lake CBD Administrative Committee, revealed their plans for next step of development.

Concurrently, Jinji Lake CBD's official account on the WeChat platform was unveiled, and an on-line public opinion poll for the artistic names of 10 tourist attractions in Jinji Lake Scenic Area was launched.
