Jiangsu government recently released the list of 45 "Excellent Rule by Law Governance Modes". SIP's service mode based on resident liaison centers is on the list.

The evaluation program was launched last October for the purpose of discovering the most effective governance practices and rolling them out to a wider range to improve the government working mechanisms across the province and provide better services for the local people.

SIP now has 14 resident liaison centers that were founded based on experience drawn from Singapore to keep close contact with the residents for immediate response to their needs. The governance mode demonstrates an innovative way to improve government services.
