The Environmental Management and Law Enforcement Office of Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort recently launched a night inspection tour, in a move to enhance monitoring and control of local industrial waste gas emissions and better protect local environment.

In two crews, the inspectors visited a number of local manufacturing and processing companies to collect waste gas samples for later testing and curb emissions that can cause pollution to environment.

The office revealed that the night inspection is a supplement to a series of announced and unannounced daytime inspections and will be employed as a long-term mechanism in the future to crack down on environmental illegalities.
