SIP launches program against business-related environmental issues


SIP launched the Environmental Management Partner Program on Aug 24 in a move to facilitate the implementation of its Three-Year Action Plan for Enhanced Environmental Management in Enterprises, which, scheduled from 2018 to 2020, is aimed at tackling local environmental issues caused by business operations.

According to Wang Xuejun, director of SIP Bureau of Land Resources and Environmental Protection, the program involves enterprises, expert panels and related government authorities to discover problems and work together with professional environmental protection technology suppliers to figure and carry out corresponding solutions.

It is reported that the program currently include 60 enterprises and effects are expected to show up four to six month later.
