As the Chinese New Year is around the corner, Suzhou subway has decided to make some adjustments to its timetable from Jan 20 to Feb 21. It will prolong its operation during the period except the five days from Jan 27 to 31.

Last train time lengthened

From Jan 20 to 26, and from Feb 1 to 21, the last train of Line 1 to Zhongnanjie direction will be postponed to depart at 23:20 and to Mudu direction at 23:10; the last train of Line 2 to Sangtiandao direction will be postponed to depart at 23:00 and to Qihe direction at 22:50. The travel interval is around 15.

From Feb 22, the original schedule will be resumed.

In view of the passenger flow in the past few years, the travel interval during Spring Festival (Jan 27 to Feb 2) will be a little longer.

Line 1 will be adjusted to 6’50” for the whole day (except the lengthened operation period on Feb 1 and 2). The departure time for the last train from Jan 27 to 31 is still 22:35 on both directions; on Feb 1 and 2, the departure time to Zhongnanjie direction is 23:20 and to Mudu direction 23:10. The travel interval in the lengthened period is around 15.

Line 2 will be adjusted to 8’ for the whole day (except the lengthened operation period on Feb 1 and 2). The departure time for the last train from Jan 27 to 31 is still 22:10 to Sangtiandao direction and 22:20 to Qihe direction. On Feb 1 and 2, the departure time to Sangtiandao direction is 23:00 and to Qihe direction 22:50. The travel interval in the lengthened period is around 15.

Adjustment in Lantern Festival

Meanwhile, there’re also some adjustments on Lantern Festival day.

Line 1 will take holiday operation chart, with peak hour from 10:00 to 22:00, travel interval of 4’30”; with general hour from 6:10 to 10:00, travel interval of 6’25”, and off-peak hour from 22:00 to 23:20, travel interval of around 15.

Line 2 will operate according to the regular weekend timetable, with peak hour from 11:00 to 20:40, travel interval of 6’10”; with general hour from 6:00 to 11:00, travel interval of 6’50”, and off-peak hour from 22:10 to 23:00, travel interval of around 15.
