Starting on January 1, 2015, Suzhou Industrial Park is to introduce the strictest penalty on illegal parking at Huxi (west of Jinji Lake) and Hudong (east of Jinji Lake) CBD areas. So when you look for a place to park your car, check carefully for the plate with the warning "100-yuan Fine & 3 Points off on Illegal Parking" below the blue-and-red no-park sign as well as the yellow line on road curb.

Most of the strict no-parking sections are at the road entries, and the drivers will also risk having their cars towed by parking next to the yellow lines. SIP Traffic Police Division will send surveillance teams to these streets and roads in January.

The areas under strict monitoring and control:

Huxi CBD Area:
All the streets and roads east of Xing Ming Street (not including Xing Ming Street), south of Su Xiu Road, west of Xing Gang Street (not including Xing Gang Street), and north of Su Hui Road.

Hudong CBD Area:
1. All the roads east of You An Street, south of Xian Dai Avenue (not including Xian Dai Avenue), north of Wang Dun Road, and west of Xing Hu Street (not including Xing Hu Street);
2. You An Street;
3. Wang Dun Road (from You An Street to Wan Sheng Street); and
4. Wan Sheng Street (from Zhong Yuan Road to Xiandai Avenue)
