Suzhou Industrial Park Xinghu Hospital opened on August 30 at Weiting Sub-district.

With the approval of SIP Administrative Committee in 2011, Xinghu Hospital is a state-run grade-2 hospital. With a land area of 48,000 square meters and 31,000-sqaure-meter in phase-1, the hospital consists of buildings for inpatients, outpatients, logistics and physical checkup. Equipped with world-class diagnostic equipment and 132 beds, the hospital opens departments of emergency, internal medicine, surgery, gynecology & obstetrics, radiology, B ultrasound examination, test and pharmacy.

As SIPAC Director Yang Zhiping said, the opening of Xinghu Hospital was a milestone in the development of healthcare in SIP on the occasion of its 20th anniversary.

It is reported that Xinghu hospital is to open pediatric outpatient & emergency departments this September by joining forces with Suzhou Children's Hospital.
