The previous rural navigation waterway has been transformed into an urban forest park

Connecting Wusong River in east and Jinji Lake in west, Xietang River has been well known for its 10-li (5km) landscape that runs along a 7-century-old street. The Xietang Park located between Nanshi Street and Xinghu Street opened to the public in 2006 and it has since then become a top choice for local residents to do exercises, to organize functions, or to simply take a walk after dinner.
