The bus parking and maintenance station at Tongyuan Road in Suzhou Industrial Park broke ground in January. "The project will serve the areas to the west of Jinji Lake," introduced Gu Yuanyuan from SIP Bus Management. At its completion, the bus circulation rate and the operation efficiency will increase greatly and local residents will enjoy more convenient and quality bus service.

The design effect of the bus parking and maintenance station

Located west of Tongyuan Road and south of Dongfang Avenue, the 29,488-square-meter facility is the second largest bus parking and maintenance station invested by SIP government.

The construction site

With total construction area of 54,000 square meters and capacity of parking 310 and maintaining 300 buses, the parking building is to be put into service during the second half of 2015. With a class-two gas station, the facility also serves as a bus terminal. The first floor of building is bus maintenance workshop and 2nd-4th floors are for parking.
