With the approach of the Chinese New Year which will fall on Jan 25, Huxi Federation of Trade Unions (HXFTU) at SIP’s Huxi sub-district on Jan 14 extended festival greetings to about 450 local frontline workers including on-demand food delivery staff and rail transit maintainers, and gave them wonderful gifts. 

 

In the event, each of the workers received a pack consisting of cooking oil, rice, cereals and nuts. The representatives of HXFTU also chatted with the workers about their holiday plans and future work plans, and reminded them of taking good care of themselves during work. This warmed the workers’ heart in the cold winter.

It is reportedly the fourth straight year that HXFTU gave Chinese New Year gifts to frontline workers in the sub-district.
