Initiated by China Cardiovascular Association and several other organizations, China Cardiovascular Health Conference (CCHC) 2019 kicked off at Suzhou Culture & Expo Center, SIP on Dec 27. The event consisted of a list of theme forums to showcase new achievements and trends in cardiovascular disease (CVD) research and treatment and discuss strategies for better CVD prevention and control. 

 

CCHC is the first academic event of its kind in the country. Over 100 experts from home and abroad shared their research findings and opinions on related topics at the event.

 

China Heart Failure Centers Alliance and China Atrial Fibrillation Centers Alliance were inaugurated concurrently, respectively dedicated to helping patients with heart failure and atrial fibrillation.

 

Moreover, the Proposal to the Public and Academic Circle on Enhancing CVD Prevention and Reducing New Cases of Disabilities Caused by CVD was released. The Proposal includes a series of schemes such as setting up self-help blood pressure testing devices in public places and enabling more hospitals to provide thrombolysis therapies to arouse people’s alertness against CVD and offer timely treatments to those suffering it.
