Otsuka Medicine (Suzhou) Co Ltd, an SIP-based branch of Japanese drug maker Otsuka Holdings Co Ltd, signed an agreement with Delta Logistics, a logistics service supplier in SIP High-end Manufacturing and International Trade Zone (SIP-HMITZ), on Dec 27. Under the agreement, the two parties will join efforts to set up a medicine logistics distribution center and a third-party medicine logistics sharing platform in the free trade zone established in SIP in September. 

 

The medicine logistics distribution center will be the first of its kind in the FTZ. It is expected to alter the current cross-border medicine logistics landscape and help propel a high-quality development of SIP’s medicine industry.
