Horgos Suxin Properties Co Ltd (HSP), a company founded by SIP authorities in Horgos, a city in Northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, hosted a seminar on Dec 20 in collaboration with China-Kazakhstan Horgos International Border Cooperation Center and several other partners, attempting to propel financial reform and innovation that can help drive economic growth in Horgos.

HSP was created for the purpose of lending Horgos a hand in boosting local economic development. It is reportedly building and running a commercial complex called Suxin Centre in the city, trying to make it a cluster of financial services. The company hopes the seminar can help inspire the development of innovative financial service modes in such fields as cross-border and offshore finance in favor of Horgos’ economic development.
At the event, financial experts from Horgos Economic Development Zone and universities and banks shared with the participants their opinions on financial reform and innovation.

Concurrently, HSP and Xinjiang Renyin Tiandun Financial Services Co Ltd signed an agreement, under which the latter will establish a Renminbi custody inventory at Suxin Centre to enhance efficiency and reduce cost of cross-border financial services.
