SIP hosted an investment fair on Oct 11, aiming to help companies engaged in service trade gain financial support from the Chinese Service Trade Innovation and Development Guidance Fund which, jointly initiated by the country’s Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce and China Merchants Group, is earmarked for promising service trade dealers.
It is learnt that SIP Administrative Committee and the fund operator China Merchants Capital signed a strategic cooperation agreement last November to launch strategic cooperation in fostering and bolstering service trade businesses with great international competitiveness. The investment fair was part of the efforts to put the agreement into substantial practice.
At the event, 11 selected projects from such fields as information technology, new energy, new materials and smart equipment were presented to the representatives of about 20 contributors to the fund, and the project operators answered the potential investors’ inquiries in the later interaction session. Many of the investors showed intentions for follow-ups.
