Seminar on multinational cooperation held in SIP

Sponsored by the People’s Government of Suzhou, the 2019 Suzhou Seminar on Multinational Cooperation took place in SIP on Sept 27. Nearly 300 executives from Fortune 500 enterprises, globally renowned multinationals, chambers of commerce, industrial associations and foreign-invested financial institutions participated to seek cooperation opportunities and share their business insights.
 
SIP Administrative Committee Director Ding Lixin spoke at the event. He gave the participants a detailed account of SIP’s efforts and achievements in luring global projects, talents and capitals, and a specific introduction to the China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone Suzhou Area lately established in SIP and related business and trade facilitation measures.
According to Ding, SIP has so far attracted over 5,000 foreign-invested projects, including 156 from 92 Fortune 500 enterprises, and the new free trade zone is expected to make it a highland for all-around opening-up to the world.
