BES Branding, an SIP-based company dedicated to providing design services for urban construction and product brand building, is earning growing fame with a multitude of classic cases.

The company, founded in 2013 by Shinoka Momoe, a Japanese woman who used to work in an investment bank in Japan, moved into SIP in 2018. It offers creative designs and brand consultancy to Chinese clients from a global perspective.

The company has partaken in the design of a host of projects such as the Dutch Flower Sea in Yancheng (a city in East China’s Jiangsu province), the Suzhou Silk Museum in Suzhou’s Gusu District and the Design Exhibition Space at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in SIP. Besides, it has provided brilliant branding solutions for many well-known companies like Chinese apparel company Hongdou Group and French cosmetics conglomerate L’Oreal’s factory in SIP.

On the other hand, the company has been trying to do something for the land nourishing its growth. It created BES University this summer and initiated the “Reediting Suzhou” program in an attempt to offer global architects and designers chances to know better about Suzhou and make creative designs about the city. In the first session of the program, a number of youths from over 30 countries and regions attended a series of lectures on Suzhou and portrayed Suzhou elements in their designs which were later compiled into a book as a gift to the city.
