Wu Qingwen, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Committee and secretary of SIP Party Working Committee, on Sept 24 met with Markus Lusser, president and director of Leica Microsystems, a Germany-based world-leading microscope and scientific instrument manufacturer which founded an R&D center in SIP in August to develop products targeting Chinese market.

At the event, Wu gave Markus Lusser and his fellows a specific introduction to SIP’s conditions, especially a series of efforts aimed at facilitating development of high-end manufacturing. He hoped the two parties can enhance cooperation in biomedical instruments and electronic information technologies, and promised to provide the best services for Leica Microsystems’ operations in SIP.

Markus Lusser expressed thanks to SIP authorities for their support to the company. He said SIP’s excellent business and living environment has deeply impressed him and reinforced his company’s determination to seek more cooperation opportunities in the area.
