A news briefing on May 5 unveiled more details about the 2019 Global AI Products and Applications Expo to be held in SIP from May 9 to 11.

It is reported that, jointly sponsored by the People’s Government of Suzhou and Artificial Intelligence Industry Innovation Strategy Alliance and organized by SIP Administrative Committee, the event will consist of exhibitions, forums, competitions, performances and an award ceremony. A host of AI experts and professionals from home and abroad will be present, and nearly 200 widely-known domestic and overseas enterprises will participate with more than 1,000 kinds of innovative AI products and solutions.

It is worth mentioning that five AI opening-up and innovation platforms being developed by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China in collaboration with several of the country’s leading tech companies such as Baidu, Alibaba and Tencent will be showcased. Additionally, 21 globally cutting-edge AI technologies and products will make their debut at the event.

The event will also include over 20 forums where industrial experts, scholars and leaders of top tech companies will share their expertise and opinions on development of new-generation AI technologies and their application in different fields.

Apart from that, a number of enterprises, individuals and products will receive awards at the event, and the 2018 Report on New-Generation AI Development will be released then.
