A team of volunteers from Chinese Consortium (also known as Suzhou Industrial Park Co Ltd) partook in the charity event organized by Single Spark Volunteers Alliance at Suzhou Center, SIP on Apr 27 to do their bit in helping children with autism.

As a member of the alliance, Chinese Consortium’s volunteer team collected donations before the event, and collaborated with other volunteers from the alliance in the event in selling them together with a variety of handiworks made by the exceptional children at SIP Ren’ai School. Besides, they served at the display zones to call on the passersby to show their love and care for autistic children.

It is learnt that the event was the second of its kind that the alliance has held since Mar 2 in a move to draw broad attention to children suffering autism, and the two events helped raise about RMB 7,000 for autistic children.
