Jinji Lake Grand Hotel receives HACCP certification

Jinji Lake Grand Hotel, a five-star hotel within SIP-based Jinji Lake Hotel Group, recently received the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) certification, becoming the first hotel in Suzhou to receive the internationally recognized accreditation for food safety control.

HACCP is a systematic preventive approach to food safety from biological, chemical, and physical hazards in production processes that can cause the finished product to be unsafe and designs measures to reduce these risks to a safe level.

It is learnt that the hotel established a food safety system last year to ensure its compatibility with HACCP-based food safety programs, and its food products were strictly and scientifically assessed before it was issued the certification by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance, a UK-based provider of a wide range of independent assessment services.
