Jinji Lake Taiwan Youth Pioneer Park (JLTYPP), a zone designed to bolster startups founded by young Taiwanese, came into service in SIP AI Industry Park on Apr 18. Currently consisting of a startup incubator and accelerator with an area of 2,858 square meters, it offers a set of facility, partnering and mentor services for eligible startups, especially those engaged in such emerging industries as AI, Internet of Things, new energy and biomedicine.

At the opening ceremony, 12 tech startups signed agreements with JLTYPP to launch their operations in the zone, and six experienced mentors signed agreements to give support to projects at JLTYPP.

Concurrently, an audition for Create and Win the Future, a local TV program aimed at discovering promising startup projects, was launched at JLTYPP. Ten teams from Taiwan presented their projects to the mentors who then gave the projects scores based on their business modes, team performance and development prospects. It is learnt JLTYPP has reached an agreement with the program’s production team to serve as a base for auditions targeting startups founded by young Taiwanese.
