Suzhou International Science Park (SISPARK) in SIP hosted an information session at a local convention center on Mar 21, when two experts from Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and Soochow Securities (SCS), a securities brokerage firm in SIP, offered the participating enterprise representatives a nugget of information about the Science and Technology Innovation Board (STIB), a NASDAQ-style high-tech board to be established at SSE.

The event was one of a series of events SISPARK recently hosted in a move to help local enterprises seek financing opportunities at the new stock trading platform.

In the event, Zhu Jiwei, listing service director at SSE, gave the participants a detailed account of STIB’s functions, access rules and related services. Zeng Liang, assistant to general manager of the 7th Division at SCS’s Investment Banking Headquarters, expounded on strategies for listing at STIB based on real cases. They also answered the participants’ inquiries about the new board.
