At the 8th Wu Wenjun AI Science & Technology Award (Wu Wenjun Award for short) Ceremony held in SIP on Dec 7, two SIP-based companies AISpeech and Suzhou Qingrui Education Technology Co Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Qingrui), received the award for technical innovation.

Wu Wenjun Award, named after renowned Chinese mathematician and AI master Wu Wenjun, is sponsored by Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and known as "China's supreme award in smart science and technology". The award ceremony is held annually since 2011 to commend institutions, individuals and projects with outstanding contributions to AI development. This year's event highlighted 70 projects selected out of entries from around the country.

AISpeech, a natural language interaction solution supplier, won the award for a set of proprietary speech technologies designed to duplicate and respond to the human languages. Qingrui received the award for its industry-leading English teaching system that incorporates both AI and Internet technologies.
