The 2018 Jinji Lake Trade Facilitation Forum was held in SIP on Dec 6, when the participants from customs offices and other government departments, enterprises and industrial associations discussed a list of hot issues concerning trade development.

The forum, held annually in SIP, is designed to enhance interaction between enterprises and government departments for the purpose of improving trade efficiency and increasing economic welfare.

Topics at the event covered global trade development trends, legal compliance and risk control in business operations, and trade facilitation strategies. The participating government officials expounded on relevant policies and administrative services to the enterprise representatives and answered their inquiries.

Concurrently, SIP Trade and Investment Facilitation Association signed commitment letters with eight of its members to jointly carry out a survey program to learn about common problems bothering local traders and help seek assistance from competent authorities.
