SIPLS holds annual meeting

SIP Law Society (SIPLS), founded in SIP in September 2015 as an organization of law scholars and experts, convened its annual meeting on Nov 27, looking back on its work in the past year and revealing its future plans. More than 100 members were present.

At the event, SIPLS declared the winners in a research paper contest it hosted early this year for the purpose of collecting scientific and feasible solutions for law-based social governance in SIP.

Concurrently, SIP High-tech (AI)-related Legal Research Society was inaugurated, aiming to draw on the wisdom from local law specialists to give local high-tech enterprises a helping hand in their development. It plans to host regular forums and seminars targeting specific legal issues encountered by high-tech enterprises in their operations.

The event also incorporated a discussion on labor and social security, where lots of scholars, lawyers and enterprise executives shared their opinions on a series of issues concerning employment relations and contracts.
At last, SIPLS disclosed its future plans designed to enhance theoretical and practical support for the social and economic development in SIP.
