At the Annual Academic Conference 2018 held by SEE (Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering) Gas Turbine Power Generation Special Committee (GTPGSC) in Beijing from Nov 13 to 14, SIP Blue Sky Gas Power Co Ltd received the award for "Organizations with Outstanding Papers on Gas Turbine Power Generation", while Bian Chengcai, one of its staff members, received the award for "Outstanding Paper Authors of the Year". It is learnt that the company has 28 papers included in this year's GTPGSC Proceedings, ranking the first among its peers.

At the event, Zhang Jianwei, general manager of the company, shared their experience and practices in encouraging their staff to devote themselves to technical research and development related to their jobs. Particularly, he introduced their Quality Control Circles (QCCs) mechanism that has shown good effects in motivating staff who do the same or similar work to identify, analyze and solve work-related problems together.
