Sponsored by Suzhou Dushu Lake Entrepreneurial University, the class on Startup Management Practices started at Link Work, a business incubator in SIP's Sangtian Island Innovation Park, on Nov 17. A total of 64 students from 10 SIP-based schools attended the first-day event.

In the morning, Zhang Li, founder of a company engaged in creation, management and delivery of content for business and cultural dissemination purposes, gave the students an introduction to DISC, a behavior assessment tool based on the DISC theory of American psychologist William Moulton Marston. Zhang's vivid description and a series of interesting games aroused the students' interest to deeply explore their personality traits.

In the afternoon, Wang Shuai, founder of Suzhou Google Developer Group, gave the students a humorous talk on the development of Internet based on his own experiences.

At last, Prof. Wang Qiang from Renmin University of China, one of the developers of the Startup Management Practices courses, introduced the courses and the class schedule to the students, and exchanged opinions with them.
