Dushu Lake Science & Education Innovation Zone (DLSEIZ) Administrative Committee hosted a training session on environment, health and safety (EHS) on Nov 7, as part of its efforts to increase local enterprises' awareness of environmental protection, occupational health and safety at work. Over 400 people from local enterprises and organizations participated.

In part of the event, staffers from related administrative offices expounded on laws and regulations on workplace safety, environmental protection, fire prevention and drug precursor management to the participants based on real cases.

In another part, several EHS professionals gave the participants a detailed account of a series of safety and risk assessment procedures and standards that they should follow to prevent and reduce accidents, emergencies and health issues at work, and several representatives of enterprises with outstanding performance in EHS management shared their experience.
