Relying on excellent business environment and considerate business support services, SIP is becoming the first choice of more and more global companies looking for locations for their overseas operations. The following projects can prove that.

SW Machines, a globally leading German multi-spindle machining center manufacturer, signed an agreement with SIP authority on Oct 18 to set up a machining center assembly factory and an R&D center focusing on smart manufacturing tools.

Umicore, a Brussels-headquartered multinational materials technology company that has an automotive catalysts arm in SIP, inaugurated a new branch in the area on Oct 11 to provide platinum engineered products.

Peratech, a British supplier of force-sensing HMI/MMI solutions for commercial and domestic purposes, opened an R&D and application center in SIP on Oct 24, counting on it to help widen the application of its products in more fields like aerospace, automobiles, toys, mobile phones and computers.
