The 2018 SIP IC Design Competition final, the last part of the recent SIP Smart Manufacturing and IC Design Contest, was held in SIP-HMITZ on Sept 8. A total of 82 contestants from 31 SIP-based enterprises gained the entry to it after rounds of preliminaries.

Organized by SIP Training Management Center and SIP High-end Manufacturing and International Trade Zone (SIP-HMITZ), the contest is aimed at helping smart manufacturing workers and integrated circuit designers enhance their professional skills.

After fierce competition, the winners of the top three places and excellence award emerged and received honors and money awards ranging from RMB 18,000 to 1,000.
