Suzhou AI-Speech Information Sci-tech Co Ltd, a voice technology developer and software service supplier in SIP, recently announced that it has raised RMB 500 million in Series D funding. ORIZA Holdings and China Minsheng Investment Group led the round, and Shengzhen Capital Group and Taiwanese companies Foxconn and MediaTek participated.

The company has achieved a fast development since its founding in 2007, with R&D centers and branches in Beijing, Shenzhen and Shanghai. It basically broke even on its operating incomes last year and is expected to bring in profits this year. The company is now engaged in developing AI chips for voice interaction purpose, which will possibly become one of its main revenue sources.
