The two-day 2018 (4th ) InnovFest Suzhou kicked off at NUS (Suzhou) Research Institute, SIP on June 20, attracting over 100 science and technology projects and many high-tech enterprises from the ASEAN countries including Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia and other countries and regions.

InnovFest Suzhou, an annual event initiated in SIP in 2015, is designed to facilitate partnering among research institutions and enterprises in groundbreaking innovation and cutting-edge technology development.

Focusing on promoting business cooperation between China and the ASEAN countries, this year's event incorporates keynote speeches, universities' forum on science and technology innovation, project roadshow and fairs, investment negotiations revolving around the fields of artificial intelligence, comprehensive healthcare and eco-friendly smart city construction.

SIP Administrative Committee and Temasek Foundation International (TFI) jointly launched the "iSmart Home" International Teacher Training Program on the same day, aiming to help primary and middle school teachers enhance their abilities of innovative teaching design.
