The 26,000-sqm new plant of MG MiniGears Suzhou Co Ltd in SIP, a branch of global gears and components manufacturer hGrear, came into operation on May 23. It is expected to greatly increase the company's output relying on high-level automatic production.

hGrear, based in Frankfurt, Germany, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of precision turned parts, drive components, gear kits and complex system solutions. The Suzhou branch, founded in SIP in Sept 2003, is dedicated to research, design and manufacturing of pinions and parts.

The new plant boasts upgraded automation solutions to bolster well-structured lean production and long-term business sustainability.

"It will enable us to adopt more advanced processing techniques and production lines for further capacity expansion," hGrear CEO Pierluca Sartorello said.
