Soochow University (SU), a national key education institute in Suzhou, and BioBAY, a biomedicine industrial park in SIP, signed an agreement at the university on Apr 18 to launch a series of cooperation projects that are expected to enable the two parties to achieve a mutual development.

According to the agreement, the two parties will make use of their advantages in medical and biological sciences to give each other support in future development. Specifically, SU will help the enterprises in BioBAY discover and recruit professionals they need, while BioBAY will offer more opportunities for the school's students to partake in enterprises' operations and projects and learn experience from leading entrepreneurs and industrial experts.

At the event, the two parties jointly inaugurated a talent training base, and SU signed agreements with seven BioBAY-based biomedicine companies to push on related cooperation projects.
